Curry Leaves Thokku

Hello all 😊😊😊 We used to take curry leaves in our day to day life by adding it in all dishes. But a dish with only curry leaves make it more nutritious. Curry leaves has more health benefits. Let's see some

Benefits of curry leaves

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Total Time : 15 mins

Ingredients
Curry Leaves - two hand full of leave
Red Chilli - 6 - 7
Pepper - 1 teaspoon
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Tamarind - small ball
Turmeric - a pinch
Asafoetida - a pinch
Jaggery 
Salt

Procedure
  • Dry roast the red chillies and pepper
  • Take a mixie jar and add the curry leaves, salt, tamarind, jaggery, roasted red chilli and pepper.
  • Grind it finely by adding water.
  • Heat a kadai, add oil. Once it get hot add the mustard seeds, wait till it splutters.
  • Add asafoetida and turmeric powder.
  • Now add in the grinded paste, let it boil and get thickened.
Tasty and healthy thokku is ready. Njoy the taste.
