Aloo Bonda

Hello friends πŸ™‹πŸ™‹πŸ™‹ Aloo the magic ingredient makes whatever dish it is made of a tasty one. Aloo is equal to taste. If something with aloo is prepared in home then the list of people and the number to be prepared gets increasedπŸ’žπŸ’žπŸ’ž

 Aloo is one of the tastiest food. There are lots of dishes that can be made with Aloo. We have already seen one Aloo Paratha. The recipe can be found here Aloo Paratha. Potato is one of the favourite dish for children. So it is really good to know multiple recipes made out of potato.

 I remember in my childhood, when some construction work happens in home, we used to buy vada for the workers and a special one for me 'aloo bonda'. What a yummy snack..... From that time I have a craze over this Aloo bonda and finally tried it and enjoyed the taste of it.

 I'm giving the recipe here for you to njoy the taste of this delicious aloo bonda.

Ingredients

Aloo - 4
Onions - 1(big)
Carrot - 1
Green Peas - 1 cup
Green chillies - 2
Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Bonda Mix
Mustard (For tempering)
Oil (For frying)
Salt

Procedure

Aloo stuffing

  • Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan and add in mustard seeds. Let it splutter.
  • Add in the chopped onions and saute for 2 to 3 mins till it becomes transparent.
  • Time to add chopped carrots and greens peas (Totally optional. Good for health and gives a good color to the dish)
  • Let it fry for 2 mins so that the raw smell goes away
  • Now add chopped green chillies, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt.
  • Garama masala gives a good flavour to the dish.

Bonda Preparation

  • Heat Oil in a pan for deep frying
  • In the meantime make balls out of the prepared potato
  • Make a batter with the bajji mix.
  • Coat the potato balls well with the mix and drop in oil.
  • Let it fry till it becomes golden brown.
  • Take it out and serve it hot.

Choco Shots

Good morning guys 😊😊😊 Yummy creamy chocolaty Choco Shots. The taste of it is amazing and will make you an addict for it. Apart from its taste it is really simple to make. This is a perfect short dessert. Come let's see the recipe.



Preparation Time : 10 mins
Freeze Time : 2 to 3 hrs

Ingredients

Any Chocolate biscuit - 10 biscuits
Whipping cream - 1 cup
Cocoa Powder - 2 tablespoon


Procedure

  • Make the chocolate biscuits (I prefer oreo) into powder. Just crush them.
  • Take the whipping cream and add cocoa powder. (Aquafaba can be used instead of whipping cream. We will see what is aquafaba and how to make it in the upcoming blogs)
  • Just whip it till cocoa powder gets mixed completely and soft peak appears(don't over whip it)
  • Now take choco shot glasses or any glass of that kind.
  • Place a layer of crushed biscuits. 
  • On top of that, layer with cocoa mixed whipping cream.
  • Fill 3/4th of the cup.
  • Finally on top make another layer with biscuit powder or chocolate syrup can be used(optional).
  • Freeze it for a minimum of 2 hours.

Yummy Choco Shots is ready :) Serve it cool. Nobody can stop with one glass. So prepare lots and make everyone enjoy.

Paal Payasam

Hello friends πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ Special lunch in home without a payasam? Nah, if you say we had payasam for lunch then that means you had a special lunch. In that order paal payasam stands first and it is one of the favourite for many. It is really simple and quick to make. Let's see the recipe for it.



Preparation Time : 2mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Total Time : 22 mins

Ingredients

Javvarisi - 50g
Semiya - 50 g
Milk - 250 ml
Sugar - 150 g
Elachi - 3 to 4
Cashews 
Raisins
Ghee


Procedure

  • Boil water in a vessel and add javvarisi. Let it get cooked well. The color will become transparent.
  • If you take out one and press with fingers, you can find whether it got cooked or not.
  • Now add in the semiya. It gets cooked very fast in just a minute or two.
  • Add in sugar and let it dissolve completely.
  • Time to add elachi. Crush and add, so it gives more flavour.
  • Slowly add in milk. Mix it completely. Make sure the consistency is thin. If not add some more milk.
  • Because it gets thick in sometime as it has cooked javvarisi.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Take a kadai and heat some ghee for roasting raisins and cahews.
  • Add as much as raisins and cashews as required.
  • Fry the raisins first. In a minute or two it gets fluffy. Take it out.
  • Now add in cashews and fry till it becomes slightly brown.
  • Add the raisins and cashews along with the ghee to the prepared payasam.

Tasty paal payasam is ready. Serve it for meal and enjoy the occasion.
