Procedure
- Cut the bitter gourd into rings.
- Add turmeric and salt to it and spread in a plate for 5 mins. So that it leaves excess water.
- Now take a bowl, add bitter gourd, gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder and fennel powder.
- Give it a good mix. If the mixture doesn't coat the bitter gourd rings, sprinkle some water. Don't add excess water.
- Heat Oil in a pan and drop the rings one by one. It avoids everything getting sticked to each other
- Let it fry till it turns completely brown and crispy. One clue is the sizzling sound will get reduced.
- Take it out and spread it in a tissue paper. It will take out the excess oil.
