Noolkol Kuruma

Hello friends ✋✋✋ Hope you are enjoying the recipes. Here comes another simple noolkol kuruma recipe which has lot of health benefits. Before getting into the recipe let's know the benefits of noolkol.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Total Time : 30 mins
Servings : 4

Ingredients
Noolkol - 2
Onions - 2(big)
Tomatoes - 2
Garlic - 7 to 8
Coriander Powder - 1 and half tablespoon
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Mint Leaves
Salt

To grind
Pattai - 1/2 inch
Cardamom - 2
Clove - 1
Garlic - 5
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Fennel Seeds - 1 teaspoon




Procedure

  • Grind everything mentioned under 'to grind' to a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a cooker and add chopped garlic. Saute for a minute.
  • Then add chopped onions. After a minute or two add tomatoes.
  • Now add noolkol, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, grinded paste and mint leaves.
  • Add required amount of water.
  • Close the cooker, keep the flame in high and wait for one whistle.
  • Then simmer the stove and let it cook for 15 mins.
  • Turn off the flame, let the pressure gets released.

Quick Bread Omelette

Hello friends 😊😊😊 Here we are going to see quick and easy made breakfast recipe bread omelette. This recipe is really simple with few ingredients but with a wonderful taste. Let's have a look at it


Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 3 mins
Total time : 8 mins

Ingredients 

Eggs - 2
Bread - 2 slices
Onions - 2(big sized)
Tomato - 1
Chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Turmeric Powder - a pinch
Pepper Powder
Coriander Leaves
Salt


Procedure

  • Chop onions and tomatoes.
  • Take a bowl, add eggs to it and beat it well (so that the omelette will be fluffy).
  • Now add the chopped onions, tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt.
  • Mix them well.
  • Heat a pan and spread one tablespoon of oil.
  • Now spread the egg mixture to the pan, dip the bread pieces in egg and turn the other side of the bread, so that the egg juice is absorbed on both sides of the bread.
  • After 2 mins carefully turn the omelette along with the bread.
  • After a minute or two the tasty bread omelette is ready.


You can also spread a layer of mayonnaise on bread, so that it tastes even yummy.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup😊

Sweet Corn Soup

Hi buddies πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ Whenever we go to a restaurant the first thing we order is soup. In that one of the best is sweet corn soup. On trying out this recipe, I wondered how easy is a perfect restaurant style sweet corn soup. Here is the recipe for it.



Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 20 mins
Servings : 4

Ingredients

Sweet corn - 1 cup
Carrot - 1/2 cup
Beans - 1/2 cup
Onions - 3(medium sized)
Garlic - 5
Butter - 1 teaspoon
Corn Flour - 1 tablespoon
Pepper powder 
Salt
Water


Procedure

  • Take half cup of corn and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • Chop carrot, beans, onions and garlic finely.
  • Heat butter in a pan and add garlic. Saute for a minute.
  • Now add onions. Let it cook for a minute
  • Add the chopped carrot and beans. 
  • After two minutes add the grinded corn.
  • Add one liter of water and salt.
  • Close the pan and let it boil for 5 - 7 mins
  • Check the vegetables, if it is not cooked properly close it again and let it cook.
  • Add half more liter of water and let it boil.
  • All the green smell from the vegetables will go away.
  • Now make corn flour slurry and add it to the boiling mixture.
  • In few minutes it will start to get thickened.
  • Finally add pepper powder to it.

Serve hot in cupsπŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™. You will really be amazed with the taste of it.

Peanut Butter

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Total Time : 15 mins

Ingredients 

Roasted Unsalted Peanut - 100 g
Sugar - 2 tablespoon
Peanut Oil - 2 tablespoon
Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon (optional)


Procedure

  • If the peanuts are not roasted, roast it in a pan for 5 - 10 mins till it changes color slightly.
  • Remove the skin out of it.
  • Add the peanuts in blender and grind for 1 min.
  • Now it might have become powder.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Use a spatula to collect everything from the edges and grind it for another minute.
  • Repeat the same process till it becomes moist.
  • Now add sugar and the other tablespoon of oil.
  • Grind it in 1 minute intervals till soft peaks appear.
  • I have added cocoa powder to add flavor. You can skip this step if you don't want choco flavor in it.

Coriander Thokku

Hello friends 😊😊😊 Coriander Thokku is a simple recipe and it can be stored for a week. A tasty side dish for tiffin items. Let's look at the recipe.


Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Total Time : 20 mins

Ingredients 

Coriander leaves : Two hands full of leaves
Red Chilli : 8
Urad dhal : 50 g
Garlic : 10
Tamarind : lemon sized
Salt
Oil : 2 tablespoons


Procedure 

  • Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil, roast the red chillies and take it away.
  • Then add urad dhal and roast it till the color changes slightly.
  • Now add the other tablespoon of oil and add the coriander leaves. Let it get shrinked.
  • Cool everything and add it to a mixie jar along with garlic, tamarind and salt.
  • Add little water and grind it into a tight mixture.
  • Store and use.

Sweet Diamond Cuts

Hello all😊😊😊 Ready with a evening snack. Simple, crispy, easy to make sweet cuts. All the ingredients will be easily available in our home. Take a look on the recipe and try it immediately.


Preparation Time : 15 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Total Time : 30 mins
Servings : 4

Ingredients 
Maida - 250 g
Sugar - 100 g
Cardamom Powder - a generous pinch
Salt - a pinch
Oil


Procedure

  • Heat a pan, add sugar and few tablespoons of water.
  • Let it dissolve completely. Don't make it thick. We need it to be in a watery consistency.
  • Take maida in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of oil and mix well.
  • Now add cardamom powder and salt.
  • Start mixing everything together by adding Sugar syrup little by little.
  • Make a tight dough, not too soft.
  • Now spread the dough in a oil greased plate.
  • Spread it using a chapathi roller till reaches a height of 1/2cm.
  • Now take a knife and make small criss cross cuts like diamonds.
  • Heat Oil in a kadai, add these diamonds and fry in batches till it turns brown.


Crispy sweet diamond cuts are ready. Isn't easy for a evening snack. Prepare, njoy and surprise everyone.

Onion Tomato Chutney(1)

Hello buddies ✋✋✋.. There are multiple variations of preparing a chutney with onions and tomatoes. Let's see a variant here. This recipe is very simple and can be made in minutes.



Preparation Time :  5 mins
Cooking Time : 10 mins
Servings : 4

Ingredients
To grind
Onion - 4 (big)
Tomato - 4(big)
Garlic - 5 
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Red Chilli - 4
Salt

To temper
Oil -  1 tablespoon
Mustard - 1 teaspoon
Urad dhal - 1 teaspoon
Curry Leaves

Coconut - 2 tablespoon


Instructions

  • Cut onions and tomatoes. No need to chop it finely as we are going to grind it.
  • Take a mixie jar and add all the ingredients mentioned under 'To grind' and grind it finely.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the items mentioned under 'To temper' one by one
  • Allow the mustard seed to sputter. Then add urad dhal and curry leaves.
  • Now add the grinded mixture and add water as required(It must not be so thick). Allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Grind coconut and add to the boiling mixture.
  • Let it boil along with coconut for 5 more minutes.


That's it. Very cool and simple chutney is ready. It goes well with chapathi. Prepare and taste it.
