Prawns - 250 g after cleaning
Onions - 4 (big)
Tomatoes - 4
Green Chillies - 2
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tablespoon

Coriander leaves

Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup

Gingelly Oil - 4 tablespoons
Procedure
- Heat a kadai and add oil to it.
- Once the oil gets hot, add in ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes away.
- Add the chopped onions.
- Let the onions cook till it turns golden brown.
- Now add in the chopped tomatoes and green chillies.
- Saute for about 5 mins.
- Onions and tomatoes will turn mushy and start to leave oil from sides.
- Now add salt and chilli powder.
- Rinse the prawns in water 3 to 4 times till the water turns clear.
- Now time to add in prawns.
- Don't add any water, because prawns leave water while gets cooked.
- Close the kadai and let it cook for 5 mins.
- In the meantime grind the grated coconut and fennel seeds.
- Open the pan and check whether the prawns are cooked.
- Add in the ground paste and cook till the curry gets thick consistency.
- Finally add chopped coriander leaves, which gives a nice aroma to the dish.
- Plate it in a bowl and serve. It goes well with rice, roti.
