Wheat flour (as required)
Potatoes : 4 medium sized
Ginger garlic paste : 2 teaspoons
Chilli powder : 3/4 tablespoon
Garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
Green Chilles : 2
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Procedure
Step 1 : Prepare potato filling

Procedure
Step 1 : Prepare potato filling
- Boil the potatoes, peel of their skin and smash it well.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add ginger garlic paste.
- Once the raw smell goes off add chopped green chillies, chilli powder and garam masala powder.
- Then add the smashed potatoes and salt to it and give it a good mix.
- Add chopped coriander leaves.
- Mix it continuously till it doesn't stick to the kadai and can be shaped to a bigger ball.
Step 2 : Make the dough and stuff with filling
- Knead the wheat flour to a perfect soft dough by adding water little by little as we make for parathas and let it rest for 15 mins.
- Now take out the dough and make into small balls.
- Roll them out into 3 to 4 inch circles.
- Make the potato filling as small balls and place it in the rolled circles.
- Start small small folds from the edges like keeping pleats for a saree.
- Bring them together and make it like a knot. (It looks like a 'surukupai')
- Flatten it with hands.
- Now again roll it carefully to make normal parathas.
Step 3 : Roast parathas
- Roast the paratha by applying oil on both sides of it.
- It goes well with onion chilli raita.
