Dahi Paratha

Hey buddies ✋✋✋. Paratha with Stuffing is always delicious and mouth watery. There are many variants of paratha. We have already seen aloo paratha recipe in our blog. Benefits of yogurt
  • Rich in calcium which is an essential nutrient needed for healthy bones and teeth.
  • Also contains Vitamin B2, B12, magnesium and potassium.
  • Good for mouth ulcers and stomach ulcers.
  • It is always preferred to make yogurt in home, so that we can avoid preservatives.

Ingredients

Wheat Flour - 2 cups
Hung Curd - 1 cup
Onions - 2 medium sized
Chilli powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Jeera Powder - 1/4 tablespoon
Garam Masala - 1/4 tablespoon
Green Chilli - 1
Salt
Oil



Procedure
Preparation of  hung curd:
  • Hung curd is nothing but yogurt  with water drained out of it.
  • Tie the curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 3 - 4 hours.
  • All the excess water gets drained.
  • Now our required hung curd is ready.

Preparation of paratha:

  • Take a bowl and add in wheat flour, salt and one tablespoon of oil.
  • Give it a good mix.
  • Add little by little water to the wheat flour and prepare the dough.
  • Keep it aside for 30 mins, cover it with moist cloth.
  • Take a bowl and add in the hung curd, chopped onions, chilli powder, jeera powder, garam masala, chopped green chilli and salt.
  • Mix well to make a smooth paste.
  • Make small parts out of the dough and start spreading those into rotis.
  • Spread two parts for one paratha.
  • Spread the curd stuffing on one roti.
  • Cover with another roti by tapping on the edges.
  • Heat the pan and sprinkle some oil.
  • Place the parathas carefully and cook it on both sides.
